Doris Nichols, age 89, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Milford Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport on September 23, 1921, to the late Elbert and Myrtle E. Marsh Nichols. A private housekeeper for over 45 years and a dedicated mother and grandmother, she is survived by her loving son William Warrington of Milford, brother Howard Nichols of Milford, sister Beatrice Woodward of Milford, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Arthur Nichols, sister Muriel Thomas and a great niece Pamela Mills. A memorial service will be held be at 1pm on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at St. Peter’s Church, River St., Milford. Interment will be Monday at 10am in Kings Highway Cemetery. Donations by be made in her name to the Breast Cancer Foundation, 60 East 56th St., 8th Floor, NY, NY 10022.
