Robert Arthur Foster, age 87, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2018 in West River Health Care in Milford. He was born on September 18, 1930 in Old Town, Maine to the late Stephen and Viola Caldwell Foster. Before retiring, he was employed at Milford Hospital in the maintenance department and an active member of Ansantawae Lodge #89 where he served in many different posts. He will be remembered as a loving family man and for his devotion to the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his dedicated wife Ethel Bigelow Foster, sons Philip Albert and his wife Maxine of Melbourne, FL., Steven Albert and his wife Debbie of Seymour, CT, David Albert and his wife Judy of Orange CT and Allan Albert and his girlfriend Barbara Wilner of St. James, NY, daughters Deborah Stetson and her partner Mark of Margate, FL, Shari Johnson of Milford and Robin Sargent and her husband Robert of Willimantic, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Calling hours are Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm with a Masonic Service being held at 3:30pm in the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Interment will be private.
