Obituary for Clinton Jones Jr.

Clinton Jones Jr. entered eternal rest on April 15, 2018 in North Bridge Nursing Home. He was born in Midland, Georgia on April 11, 1932 to the late Clinton and Ophelia Marshall Jones Sr. Clinton was a retired machinist of the Producto Machine Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching television especially westerns and soap operas. Cherishing his memories as a devoted father are son, Kevin Jones of Torrington, CT, daughter, Jackie, stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. He was predeceased by his loving Common Law Wife, Marjorie Martin, son Howard D. Jones, brothers Johnny, Howard, Rufus and Shed Jones, sisters Fannie Lee, Willie Mae and Verna Jones. Calling hours are Friday, April 20, 2018 from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation in the funeral home at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
