James J. Varga, age 67 of Milford, passed away November 9, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown, CT. James was born in Bridgeport, CT on April 11, 1950, son of the late Stephen and Kathleen Morgan Varga. During his life, James was an employee of BIC Corporation of Milford for many years. He is survived by his brothers Steven Varga and his wife Barbara Dill-Varga of Carmel, CA; Bruce Varga and his wife Janice Varga of Milford,​ and three nephews Alex, Derek and Ryan Varga. Jim was an athlete since childhood, participating in numerous organized sports, his favorite being basketball. He attended Central Grammar School, St. Emery’s School and Milford High School. He also had a lifelong passion for music beginning at an early age. A private graveside service will be held for family members in December. The Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford is handling arrangements.
