Sandra Wilcock Giguere of Jefferson, NC, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017. Sandy was born on January 4 in New Haven, CT to Joseph and Ruth Robarts Wilcock. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents. Sandy is survived by: her husband, Robert George Giguere; son, Robert Joseph (Devin) Giguere of CT; daughter, Jolene (Ronald) Snyder of Jefferson, NC; son, Matthew Ryan Giguere of Apex, NC; brother, Clifford Wilcock of MA; niece, Crystal Streit-Beetham of CT; grandchildren, Connor, Madison, Avery, Aden, Peyton, Morgan, Noah, Logan and Ellianna. Sandy is also survived by her grand-dogs; Riley, Sox, Sadie, Cody, Emily, Dakota and cats; Mickey, Rosie and Max. Sandy was a wonderful mother and friend; her devotion and love for her family was unparalleled. Her legacy will be forever remembered and her life on this earth cherished by her loving family. She is greatly missed but will always be alive in memory; as well as the lessons of life and wisdom she shared over the years. Sandy enjoyed watching her children and later her grandchildren play sports; she supported all activities they participated in over the years. She was their number one fan. Sandy was proud of every achievement, big or small. Sandy found tremendous joy in spending time with her family, gardening and crocheting. She was known to her grandchildren as “Gram”, "Lalee" or "Grandma G". She will always be remembered as a strong, selfless woman and a loving and incredible mother to those who were blessed to know her. “She is strength, she is beauty, she is love, she is my mom” ~unknown.
