Walter T. Quinn, age 88, of Milford since 1980 and formerly a long-time resident of Trumbull, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in West River Healthcare Center in Milford. He was born on January 24, 1921 in West Hoboken, NJ to the late James and Mary Murrey Quinn. He is survived by his loving wife, of 63 years, Marjorie Hurley Quinn. Mr. Quinn was a long-time employee of Beechmont Dairy and the last surviving member of ten children. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Michael Quinn of California, daughter Eileen Plumb and husband David of Derby, three grandsons, Kevin Plumb of Trumbull , Brian Plumb of Brooklyn, NY., and Sean Quinn of CA. He is also survived by four great granddaughters, plus many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a son Patrick Quinn. He proudly served in the US Coast Guard during WWII on troop ships in the Pacific. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday July 3, 2009 at 11:00 am in St. Gabriel’s Church Milford.
