Flo was born in Portchester, NY on November 5, 1938. She passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in Milford, CT. She was raised in Mamaroneck, NY by her late father and mother Antonio and Concettina DeMarco. She was a proud, strong, hard working and independent woman. She worked for nearly 60 years primarily in banking and the insurance industry. Similar to most first generation Italians, she possessed a deep connection and love for food and enjoyed sharing the experience with her family and friends. She was a dedicated and loyal wife, married to her late husband Anthony L. Perna of Cos Cob, CT for 32 years. Most importantly, she was a generous mother who protected and loved her children dearly. Flo is survived by her son Rick Perna, daughter-in-law Eulalia Perna, grandson Anthony Perna, and granddaughters Marianna and Sofia Orrico. Her family will miss her deeply and she will remain forever in their hearts. A note of thanks to all her loving and supportive friends at the Milford Senior Center where she experienced so many hours of enjoyment and genuine friendship. A special thanks to Theresa Manno for her friendship, love and support. At the request of the family, all services and interment will be private.
