Ralph P. Visconti, age 81, of Milford passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Milford Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1937 in New York, NY to the late Enrico and Phoebe Steele Visconti. Before retiring, he was employed as a truck driver for Beard Concrete. Ralph will be remembered for his devoted to his family and his special skills for carpentry. Mr. Visconti is survived by his wife Deborah Ried Visconti, son Paul Visconti and his wife Lisa of Milford, daughters Patty Visconti-Irvin and her husband James of Texas, and Pamela Visconti and her fiancée Samuel Santana of Milford, his grandchildren Stephen, Anthony, Michael and his wife Rachel, Matthew, Marshall, and Joel, his great-grandchildren Lily, Sage, and Rose, his siblings Lily Ryan, Mabel Swingle and her husband Ken, Deedee Hughes and her husband Bob, Edward Visconti and his wife Diane, and Bessie Hanson and her husband Jim, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Joan LaFond Visconti, his siblings Joseph and Frank Visconti, Philomena “Honey” Stiewing, Margaret Reilly, Phoebe Saunders, and Clara Havarda. Calling hours will be held Friday December 28, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 at 9AM in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
