Obituary for William C. Ross
William C. Ross, age 62 of Milford, died on December 11th. He was born August 23, 1956 in Milford, Connecticut to Lee Ross and the late Al Ross.
Bill Ross was an accomplished multimedia executive. A graduate of Bryant College in Rhode Island, he spent over 30 years in the television industry in top leadership roles in New York, New Orleans, Denver, Texas, and Ohio. In 2012, Bill founded TargetonStar – a digital marketing company.
Bill was co-author of the book, “Make It So: Leadership Lessons from Star Trek: The Next Generation.” He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the guitar. Bill had a passion for good times with family and friends.
Bill was devoted to his family. He is survived by his mother, Lee; his brother Ray, his sister Lin (Greg Deemy); 3 nephews, Ray (Krista), Greg (Renee) and Matt (Melissa); and 6 great nieces and nephews, Samantha, Callie, Tyler, Riley, Giuliana, and Donovan.
He will be missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 15th at Smith Funeral Home, 135 North Broad Street, Milford, Connecticut. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Bill’s life.
