Adaline M. Kuser, age 91, of Milford passed away on October 4, 2018 in St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was born on January 27, 1927 to the late Jabez and Adaline Blakeslee Tomlinson in Bridgeport. Before retiring, she was employed in the marketing department of Subway Corporation Headquarters. An active member of the community, she was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Congregational and was especially involved in the Women’s Fellowship Group. Adaline is survived by her devoted children Thomas Kuser and his wife Joan of Milford and William J. Kuser of New Haven, daughter Beverly Anderson and her husband Derril of North Carolina, brother Edward Tomlinson of Missouri, sister Jeanette Plasky of Shelton, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband William W. Kuser, brother Hunt Tomlinson Jr. and sisters Marian Tomlinson, Eunice Smith, Margery Burnett and Ethel Willer. Calling hours are Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 12pm to 2pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will follow the visitation at 2pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private in the First United Church of Christ, Congregational Memorial Garden.
