Betty Jean Czajkowski, age 89 of Milford, beloved wife of the late Henry Czajkowski, Sr., left this world for her heavenly home on August 3, 2018. Betty was born in Penbrook, Pennsylvania, February 11, 1929, daughter of the late Harry and Laura Garverick Arbegast. Bettys greatest love was her family and helping others. She had a huge heart and beautiful soul. A devout Christian who enjoyed reading and studying the bible at great lengths and volunteering her time at Kingdom Life Church, where she was a greeter for many years and was known for giving the biggest and best hugs. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and sister-in-law, she is survived by her children Henry Czajkowski, Jr.(Chip) and his wife Daryle Ann, Sandra Hill, and Susan Domkowski and her husband Robert all of Milford, her grandchildren Courtney Calandro and her husband Len, Ashley Coelho and her husband Dan, Derek Hill, Nathanael Czajkowski, Brent Domkowski, and Brittany Czajkowski, her great grandchildren Sydney and Harper Calandro and Blake Coelho, her sister-in-law Bernice Arbegast, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Harry and William Arbegast, her sister-in-law Jean Arbegast, and her son-in-law David Hill. Calling hours will be held Thursday August 9, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. Funeral services will be held Friday August 10, 2018 at 11am in the funeral home with Pastor Nathanael Czajkowski officiating. Interment will follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. Her family would also like to thank Milford Heath Care for their dedication in caring for their mother and also Olga, who was her loving home caregiver for over a year, for her warm-hearted dedication and loving affection.
