Obituary for Antonio Moreno Jr.

Antonio  Moreno Jr.
Antonio Moreno, Jr., age 65 of Beacon Falls, formerly of Stratford, passed away August 3, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born in Bridgeport, May 8, 1953 and grew up in Bridgeport and Milford. He was the son of the late Antonio Sr. and Marion Smith Moreno. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Vietnam and later worked as a high-tension lineman for Metro North Railroad for 36 years. Tony was a member of the American Legion Schaeffer-Fischer Post 25 of Beacon Falls and of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 747. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his devoted wife Rosemary Pelliccione Moreno, his sons Antonio Moreno III, and his wife Tara, along with sons Michael and Nicholas Moreno, his grandchildren Kiara, Cadence, Antonio IV, and Sienna Moreno, his brother Gary Moreno, his sisters Melody Dunn, and her husband John, and Buffy Rivera, along with several adoring nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday August 9, 2018 at 10am in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
