Kevin Ryan Shaw, age 29, of Milford passed away on April 21, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Kevin was born on July 6, 1988 in Bridgeport to Joseph Jr. and Norma Vergel Shaw. Kevin graduated from Joseph A. Foran High School in 2006 and attended Lincoln Tech. He was employed at Canton Racing in North Branford as a CNC Machinist. Kevin will be remembered for his devotion to his family, skateboarding, riding and working on his motorcycle, fishing and anime. He enjoyed the years he spent with his beloved daughter. Kevin was a kind and gentle person who was extremely handy and loved Chinese food. Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his daughter Gianna Shaw of West Haven, his brother Joseph Shaw III of Hamden and his fiancée Laura Jalette, his sister Leanna Shaw of Milford, maternal grandparents Francisco and Gladys Vergel, paternal grandmother Colleen Shaw. Kevin will be fondly remembered by his Aunts and Uncles; Iliana and Harold Williams, Linda and José Vazquez, Gary and Kathleen Shaw, Robert and Sheri Shaw, Michael and Debra Shaw, Lori and Steven McGrory, and numerous cousins across the country. He will now be reunited with his predeceased paternal grandfather Joseph William Shaw, Sr. Calling hours are Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm during the visitation. Interment will be private.
