Patrick Joseph Regan, age 86 of Milford, passed away on April 16, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was born on November 23, 1931 in Bridgeport to the late Michael Lyons and Elizabeth Butler. Before retiring, he was employed as a salesman for Napoli Motors. Pat was a friend to all with an outgoing personality, easy charm and a warm smile that lit up a room. Always willing to help others, he will be remembered fondly in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Virginia Schultz Regan, children Patrick Michael Regan and his wife Kathleen of Germantown, MD, Sharon Elizabeth Regan and her companion Randy Dovitski of Bristol, CT and Timothy George Regan and his wife Diana of Bristol, CT, Virginia’s children Janine Tighe and her husband John of Milford, William Gilson and his wife Eileen of Stratford, and Bonnie Gilson of Milford, brother John Regan of Stratford and twelve grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Margaret Holroyd. Calling hours are Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 21st. at 10:00am in St. Gabriel’s Church, Broadway, Milford. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
