Lillian E. Davies, age 98, formerly of Milford, passed away in Regal Care in West Haven on Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was born on February 16, 1919 in Bridgeport to the late Wilbur and Mazie Archer Brewster. An active member of the community, before retiring she was a member of the Milford and West Haven Square Dance Clubs. Along with her love for dancing and being an avid Yankees fan, she will be remembered for her devotion to her family. Mrs. Davies is survived by her loving children Sondra Wilt and her husband Tom of New London, NH, Robert Davies and his wife Cathy of Laguna Niguel, CA, David Davies and his wife Eva Marie of West Haven, and John Davies and his wife Lorrie of Mendon, MA, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her caring husband Brynmor Davies and her brother Jack Brewster. Calling hours are Friday, January 12, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm with a funeral service at 6pm with Rev. Patricia Pasley at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St, Milford. Interment will be held Saturday January 13, 2018 at 10am directly at Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
